Furry Purrys is a coloring / activity book I created many years ago.

My children were advanced in thier learning, so I needed a book that would cater to both of thier levels since they usually did activities and colored pages together.

You will notice preschool aged pages as well as pages up to a third grade level.

I added a bit of color on each page. I know this is unusual for a coloring book, but I want mine to stand out AND there is a reason.

While substitute teaching preshool and kindergarten children at the local elementary school, I noticed that during "coloring" time the children would tend to skip the pages that had no color on them. I found that they loved to help finish a page that thier friend started, but beginning a page all on thier own seemed overwhelming.

So I did some experiments and found that if I colored even the tiniest of places on each page, it motivated the child to continue and help finish the page.
