Book Illustration for author RV Siegel "A Bee Called Kangaroo" : This book inspired me due to a character within the story named Mary Ellen. My mother was named Mary Ellen and she passed away at a young age a few months ago. She was very much like the flower in the story who gives advice to Kangaroo and befriends him. After reading the story I just had to illustrate it. RV Siegel of Florida hired me soon thereafter to illustrate her book. If you are interested in a preview or a calendar go to:

African American Greeting Cards/Art/Illustrations

Coloring/Activity Book "Furry Purrys" : Furry Purrys is a coloring / activity book I created many years ago.

My children were advanced in thier learning, so I needed a book that would cater to both of thier levels since they usually did activities and colored pages together.

You will notice preschool aged pages as well as pages up to a third grade level.

I added a bit of color on each page. I know this is unusual for a coloring book, but I want mine to stand out AND there is a reason.

While substitute teaching preshool and kindergarten children at the local elementary school, I noticed that during "coloring" time the children would tend to skip the pages that had no color on them. I found that they loved to help finish a page that thier friend started, but beginning a page all on thier own seemed overwhelming.

So I did some experiments and found that if I colored even the tiniest of places on each page, it motivated the child to continue and help finish the page.

Furry Purrys is the name of my characters copyright 2005 United States Of America/All Rights Reserved.

I have not had this published yet since I have been busy illustrating other author's books.

Comp Cards : Comp cards are a collection of photos showing a variety of poses and shots. Actors and models often use them to show range of character and emotion capabilities while models like to use them to show off several looks. They can be designed in any fashion and may contain anywhere from one to ten photos. When Landrum Creations makes a comp card they include whatever text information you choose.

The group photo is the only one where everyone was looking forward with eyes open. It's amazing that everyone can be seen (with the exception of a few partial faces) considering all of the children and the size of this group!
